It’s official! Our new superfood product range has arrived

On Wednesday we had the honour of hosting our official launch party not just for our biodegradable packaging, but also for our new range of superfood treats!

We had an amazing time with some special guests including the Ipswich Lord Mayor Teresa Harding, Chris from Firestation 101 and Matthew Andrew from Trade and Investment Queensland. These people have supported The Golden Bone Bakery since its inception and we are so grateful for all the care and guidance they have given us over the years. 

Even though we knew we were onto a fantastic idea, Chad and Matthew provided us with the business acumen and foundational support we needed not just to survive, but thrive in a competitive industry. 

Another fact you might not have known about The Golden Bone Bakery is that like most startups we actually began creating the treats at home. However as demand grew we knew we had to scale up to keep up with our new influx of orders. Mark Shanley from Market Organics and Areta, who was previously a chef at the Ipswich Club, helped us move out of our home kitchen and get our own incredibly designed commercial kitchen space that The Golden Bone Bakery now calls home.

Together, these people helped us take The Golden Bone Bakery from it’s humble beginnings and transformed it into a global business within the space of a few years. 

Now, The Golden Bone Bakery’s treats can be found in multiple countries all over the oceanic region including Japan and Korea which - two of the most notoriously competitive markets to break into.

We were also humbled to receive praise from the Ipswich Lord Mayor Teresa Harding who described The Golden Bone Bakery team as a young, vibrant and hardworking startup which she was incredibly proud of. 

And of course, we can’t forget our VIP’s! They’re the reason we created The Golden Bone Bakery in the first place and without them and the support of their owners we wouldn’t have been able to achieve so much in just a short amount of time.

Launch of our new superfood range

Since the beginning, it has always been our goal to use our knowledge of veterinary science and nutrition to formulate treats which are both tasty but provide your furbabies with essential nutrients for their health.

This new product range has been developed in conjunction with veterinarians and nutritional experts to provide specific health benefits to your furbaby. 

As always, our product line is 100% free of any artificial preservatives, colours or flavours and contains no added salt or sugar.

Blueberry and Beetroot

Both blueberries and beetroots contain a high amount of anthocyanins, a chemical responsible for aiding the immune system by reducing free radicals.  

These sweet-tasting treats are low in calories and make the perfect snack for your pet.

Pumpkin, Kale and Prebiotics

Pumpkin is incredibly rich in nutrients and fibre which is key to slowing the rate of digestion, allowing nutrients to be better absorbed by the body. 

We have also added prebiotics to help balance healthy gut bacteria and maintain good gastrointestinal health, and Kale to support your dog's gut health and immunity.

Strong eyes

Chlorella-seaweed

Keep your dog's eyes strong with Seaweed treats. This special Seaweed is called Chlorella. Chlorella contains lutein and zeaxanthin, two carotenoids that protect the eye against degeneration. 

Bonus: Chlorella also helps to beat bad breath!

The unique biscuit shape helps reduce tartar build-up and improves overall dental health. We combined blueberries with seaweed and gut-healthy prebiotics to strengthen and support your furbaby's puurrrfect well-being. 

Overall it’s been a big month here at The Golden Bone Bakery but we are always looking for new ways to innovate and disrupt the market with a passion to provide your furbabies with the best treats possible.
