The Golden Bone Bakery was founded to provide healthy treats, but over time our vision has expanded to help animals all over the world. While making healthy and delicious treats is the heart of what we do, each year we think of ways to give back to the community through various community initiatives.

One of the initiatives we are most passionate about is our long standing partnership with the RSPCA.

From donating treats to the RSPCA School for Dogs, through to promoting Cupcake Day and the Million Paws Walk we at The Golden Bone Bakery enjoy helping the RSPCA in their mission to make the world a better place for animals.

Donations through our Advent Calendar

Last year, we decided that $2 out of every Advent Calendar sale would go towards the RSPCA QLD Adoption centers in helping pets find their forever homes. It tied in perfectly with the spirit of the Christmas season and we couldn't wait to help raise funds for the RSPCA through something we worked so hard on.

The result? Not only did we achieve our initial target but with your help we were able to surpass it, selling over 600 Advent calendars for dogs (with rave reviews from all over the world.)

Presenting our cheque to the RSPCA

Recently, we made a trip to one of the Pet Adoption Centres to present our cheque. It was great to meet Tara and an adorable 3 legged cattle breed puppy named Webber who is currently waiting for a new, loving home.

Donations like these go toward helping the RSPCA provide a safe haven for pets while also providing them with microchipping, de-sexing, deworming and the other essentials to prepare them for their forever home.

None of this would be possible without our amazing community.
